FIELD: cosmetology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for processing colored hair, to compositions used in such methods, and to their applications. A method for preventing color loss in colored hair is proposed, including bringing hair into contact with a composition that includes from 1 to 30% by wt. of one or more surfactants and at least one hydroxy-substituted aldehyde selected from 2-hydroxydecanal, 2-hydroxydodecanal, 2-hydroxytetradecanal, 2-hydroxyhexanal, 2-hydroxyoctanal, 2-hydroxypropanal, 6-hydroxyhexanal, 3-hydroxypropanal, 4-hydroxybut-2-enal, 2-hydroxybutanal, 3-hydroxybutanal and 4-hydroxybutanal. A composition for hair care is proposed, including from 1 to 30% by wt. of one or more surfactants and at least one specified hydroxy-substituted aldehyde. A method for hair coloring and a packaged product for hair coloring using the specified composition in combination with a coloring composition are also proposed.
EFFECT: inventions contribute to counteracting color loss of colored hair, provide a reduction in color loss by at least 10% after three washing sessions.
