FIELD: cosmetology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for processing colored material. A method for preventing color loss in a colored material involves bringing the material into contact with a composition including a chelating agent obtained from polycarboxylic acid, selected from glutamic acid – N,N-diacetic acid (GLDA), diethylenetriamine pentacetic acid (DTPA) and mixtures thereof. The method for hair coloring, the use of one or more chelating agents to prevent the loss of color of colored hair and a packaged product for hair coloring are also disclosed.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides prevention of the loss of color in the colored material.
