SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the treatment of colored hair. The use of a composition is disclosed, including one or more salts of secondary or tertiary alkanolamine and carboxylic acid of the formula RCOOH, where R is an unsubstituted alkyl group containing from 3 to 9 carbon atoms, to counteract the color loss of colored hair.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in color loss by at least 20%.
