FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: system and a method for analyzing a phenotype and a sequence of polynucleotides of a biological particle are proposed. The system contains an analyzer of a phenotype of a biological particle, a generator of an identifiable oligonucleotide coding carrier, a microreactor, a sequencer of a pre-determined sequence of an encoding oligonucleotide and a sequence of polynucleotides of a biological particle. The method includes optical analysis of a biological particle to determine the phenotype, recording the phenotype, generating a carrier of coding oligonucleotides, placing a biological particle and the carrier in the microreactor, lysis of a biological particle, ligation of coding oligonucleotides with polynucleotides of a biological particle, sequencing to determine the sequence of polynucleotides of a biological particle and comparing the phenotype of a biological particle with the sequence of polynucleotides of a biological particle.
EFFECT: inventions provide an accurate determination of genome/transcriptome and phenotype for each biological particle.
