FIELD: computing module controlling methods.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling a computing module of an automation system. The method comprises: (I) obtaining by an additional computing module (4) a list of automation functions to be performed by the computing module (3); (II) determination, by means of an additional computing module (4), for each automation function, the time delay value that is used in the algorithm for performing the automation function; (III) ranking of automation functions by means of an additional computing module (4) according to the criterion of increasing time delay; computing module (4) according to the criterion of increasing the time delay; (IV) installation by means of an additional computing module (4) start timers and execution of automatic functions by means of computing module (3) in the following order: automatic functions acting on equipment shutdown and transmitting control commands without time delay, automation functions related to redundancy of control failure equipment, and automation functions that have a time delay before applying the control action, in order of increasing time delay.

EFFECT: optimization of the automation functions.
