FIELD: water treatment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of production of a bioactive membrane of an osmotic-active filter for water treatment based on high-silica porous glass by means of processing high-silica porous glass using a bioactive compound. The method is characterized in that a silicon-molybdenum heteropolyanion is preliminarily synthesized based on an alcohol solution of tetraethoxysilane and a 10% solution of ammonium molybdate (NH4)2MoO4 at a pH value of 1.2, wherein the high-silica porous glass is further consequently saturated with the resulting solution.

EFFECT: introduction of silicon polyoxomolybdate into the pores of a high-silica matrix of the proposed membrane prevents growth of bacterial and fungal colonies in the pore area, which is the main difference and advantage thereof compared to existing membranes for osmotic-active filters.
