FIELD: electrolytes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of electrolytes for producing coatings and products from rhenium by the method for high-temperature electroforming in molten salts. The electrochemical cell for synthesising a CsCl-KCl-NaCl-Cs2ReCl6 melt consists of an anode and cathode units, divided by a non-conductive diaphragm and placed in a sealed quartz retort, wherein the electrochemical cell is made in form of a socket with a cover, wherein the first current lead is installed, and a second current lead is led through a hole in the centre of the cover, wherein a quartz tube is placed in the socket, the cavity wherein is divided by a diaphragm, a catholyte is placed under the diaphragm and placed above are an anolyte and metallic rhenium fixed on a conductive rod installed in the quartz tube placed in the hole of the socket cover and connected with the second current lead.
EFFECT: simplified instrumentation of the process.
