FIELD: visual display equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a display panel and a display device. The expected result is achieved by the fact that the display panel includes many display areas, and the set of display areas includes the first display area and the second display area, which are located side by side, but do not overlap with each other, the first display area includes rows of the first pixel blocks arranged in an array, the second display area includes rows of the second pixel blocks arranged in an array; the display panel additionally includes a first scanning control circuit for controlling light emission to control light emission by rows of the first pixel blocks and a second scanning control circuit for controlling light emission to control light emission by rows of the second pixel blocks, while the control method includes the stages in which: the first starting signal is fed to the first scanning control circuit for controlling light emission and the second starting signal is fed to the second scanning control circuit for controlling light emission; the second start signal and the first start signal, respectively, are given independently.
EFFECT: providing independent control of the display areas of the folding screen.
