SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a display panel and a display device. The effect is achieved in that the display panel includes a plurality of display areas, a peripheral area surrounding the plurality of display areas, a plurality of light emission control scanning control circuits provided in the peripheral area, a first start signal transmission line and a second start signal transmission line. The first start signal transmission line is different from the second start signal transmission line; the plurality of display areas contain a first display area and a second display area, which are located side by side, but do not overlap with each other; the first display area contains many rows of the first blocks of pixels located in the array, and the second display area contains a plurality of rows of second blocks of pixels arranged in the array; a plurality of scan control circuits for controlling light emission comprise a first scan control circuit for controlling light emission for controlling a plurality of rows of the first pixel blocks to emit light and a second scan control circuit for controlling light emission for driving a plurality of rows of the second pixel blocks to emit light; the first start signal transmission line is electrically connected to the first scan control circuit for controlling light emission and configured to supply the first start signal to the first scan control circuit for light emission control; and the second start signal transmission line is electrically connected to the second scan control circuit for controlling light emission, and configured to supply the second start signal to the second scan control circuit for controlling light emission.

EFFECT: provides independent control of the display areas of the folding screen.
