FIELD: car industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. An internal combustion engine with linear piston movement has at least one cylinder (5). Wall (3) of cylinder (5) in at least one wall area forming a cylinder working surface is formed by coating the crankcase or cylinder liner of the internal combustion engine with coating material (7). Coating material (7) is formed by high-alloy steel alloy, which contains at least chromium, nickel, copper and niobium as alloying elements. Steel alloy is formed by 1.4542 (DIN EN 10088-3) steel or 1.4548 (DIN EN 10088-3) steel. A vehicle, in particular an industrial car with an internal combustion engine, a method for manufacturing the crankcase or cylinder liner and the use of high-alloy steel alloy are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in wear resistance, corrosion resistance and simplification of processing.
