SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices for generating aerosol. The device contains a power source, an atomizer having a channel made with the possibility of passing the air flow formed by inhalation carried out by the user, a temperature sensor for determining the temperature of the power source, a controller with the ability to control the atomizer, a first element at least partially enclosing the temperature sensor and the controller, a second element located between the power source and the controller, a sleeve. The temperature sensor is located in a position other than the position in which the cooling effect of the air flow is maximum. A layer of air is provided between the first element and the sleeve.

EFFECT: accuracy of determining the temperature of the power source increases, the efficiency of controlling the atomizer, in particular the power source, increases.
