FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to magnesium-based casting alloys, and can be used in the production of sealed parts for the aerospace industry operating under pressure of hydraulic fluids. Magnesium-based casting alloy containing neodymium, lanthanum, zinc, and zirconium is proposed with the following component ratio, wt. %: neodymium 2.1-2.5, lanthanum 0.9-1.4, zinc 0.0-0.3, zirconium 0.4-1.0, magnesium and impurities - the rest, while the content of neodymium and lanthanum in the alloy does not exceed a total of 3.5 wt. %. The alloy is characterized by the fact that it has a crystallization temperature range smaller than known alloys, with comparable operational properties, which provides it with better tightness indicators in the cast and heat-treated state. In addition, the alloy has a lower cost compared to known alloys due to the use of cheaper alloying components.

EFFECT: better tightness indicators in the cast and heat-treated state, as well as lower coast.
