FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry and can be used in laboratories carrying out analytical control of technological facilities related to the production of polymers with a tin-containing compound as an additive. The method involves preliminary dry ashing of the analyzed sample in a muffle furnace to a mineral residue, which is then mixed with a buffer in a ratio of 1:20 and analyzed by atomic emission spectroscopy. The buffer consists of a coal powder with an addition of 1.0-5.0, wt. %, of the synthesized carbon material, which is obtained from graphite, subjected after processing sequentially with a chromium mixture and sulfuric acid to microwave radiation with a frequency of 2.45 GHz and a power of 800 W for 60-90 sec. Atomic emission determination of tin in the resulting sample is carried out at an exposure of 40-80 sec.
EFFECT: ensuring that the sample weight is sufficient for analysis and the tin detection limit is reduced to 10-5, wt.%.
