SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by an apparatus containing at least two controlled reactance elements (1) configured to compensate for the ground fault current of one phase in the power supply network with a power transformer (3). Said at least two controlled reactance elements (1) each are connected by one side with two different voltages of a three-phase voltage source synchronous with the power supply network, and by the other side thereof the reactance elements are jointly connected with the neutral (N) of the power supply network or an equivalent thereof. The reactance elements are individually controlled by means of a control unit (2) intended for controlling the voltage of the neutral of the power transformer (3) or the equivalent thereof relative to the amplitude and phase in relation to the own voltage system of the power transformer.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of compensation of the residual ground fault current.
