FIELD: audio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for high-frequency reconstruction of audio signals. A number of signals of low-frequency sub-bands is received. A set of target energies is received, where each target energy covers a different target interval within a high-frequency interval and serves as a sign of the required energy of one or more signals of high-frequency sub-bands lying within the target interval. A number of signals of high-frequency sub-bands is generated based on a number of signals of low-frequency sub-bands and a number of spectrum gain coefficients, respectively, related to a number of signals of low-frequency sub-bands. Energies of a number of signals of high-frequency sub-bands are adjusted using a set of target energies, wherein the adjustment of the energy of a number of signals of high-frequency sub-bands includes determining, for each target interval, a different value of the envelope adjustment for each signal of high-frequency sub-bands within the target interval.
EFFECT: improvement of the quality of the high-frequency component of the audio signal.
