FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology for generating a number of audio signals of high-frequency sub-bands. The expected result is achieved by receiving a set of target energies, where each target energy covers a different target interval within a high-frequency interval and serves as a sign of the required energy of one or more signals of high-frequency sub-bands lying within the target interval; generating a number of signals of high-frequency sub-bands based on a number of signals of low-frequency sub-bands and from a number of spectrum gain coefficients, respectively, associated with a number of signals of low-frequency sub-bands; and adjusting the energy of a number of signals of high-frequency sub-bands using a set of target energies, and adjusting the energy of a number of signals of high-frequency sub-bands includes determining for each target interval the total value of the envelope adjustment for each of the signals of high-frequency sub-bands within the target interval.
EFFECT: exclusion of audible discontinuities in the form of a high-frequency band signal spectrum.
