FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: support of external fixation system for transosseous osteosynthesis includes a plate with holes in the form of a ring, a semi-ring, an arch. Plate is made of composite material containing binder and filler. Filler contains basalt fibre in the form of chopped thread or chopped bundle with fibre length from 5 to 40 mm. Plate is made by direct pressing or injection moulding of binder and filler in matrix of metal or composite with inner cavity of matrix, inversely repeating shape of plate with holes.

EFFECT: invention enables use of cheaper composite materials and technology which enables relatively cheap mass production.
