FIELD: shaping.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for manufacturing combined structural materials consisting of metals and polymers. In manufacture of a polymer workpiece, a metal component is placed at a depth of 0.1 to 1.5 mm from the surface thereof, forming an integrated combined layer. The surface of said layer of the polymer workpiece is aligned with the prepared surface of the metal workpiece, and the workpieces are placed in an alternating electromagnetic field with a frequency from 0.1 to 10 kHz, creating a zone at the interface of the connected surfaces for short-term heating to a temperature sufficient for melting the polymer of the combined layer and adhering said polymer to the surface of the metal workpiece. The workpieces are compressed by a value from 0.1 to 1.5 mm, providing a mechanical connection of the integrated combined layer of the polymer workpiece and the metal workpiece.

EFFECT: heat deformation and stress are excluded, high connection precision is provided, and the geometric stability of the resulting object is maintained.
