FIELD: coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when applying coatings to metal surfaces of staircases, ladders, bridges, footpaths, car ramps, helipads, vessel decks. The method for producing a non-slipping coating includes preparation of the surface and application of a polymer coating. The surface is prepared by means of abrasive flow treatment. A metal sublayer of an aluminium-magnesium alloy with a thickness of 100 to 1000 mcm and a layer of a polymer-abrasive composition with a thickness of 300 to 1000 mcm are then consequently applied by means of electric arc metallisation, injecting said composition onto a metal sublayer preheated by a gas flame to a temperature of 150 to 200°C accompanied by heating the resulting coating by a gas flame. A thermoplastic powder material is used as a polymer material. The abrasive material is used at a fraction of 0.1 to 3 mm. Injection of the polymer-abrasive composition is then deactivated and the coating is heat-treated with a gas flame to the melting point of the polymer component.
EFFECT: produced coatings are characterised by improved operating characteristics, such as mechanical resistance to abrasion, high static friction force.
