FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, mainly to methods for thermal hardening of products of powder metallurgy, in particular to products of hard alloys used for the manufacture of cutting and drilling equipment. The method for processing sintered hard alloy T15K6 by thermocycling includes thermocycling in a salt bath furnace by heating the hard alloy T15K6, quenching and tempering it. Thermocycling is carried out in 3 cycles, and the heating of the hard alloy T15K6 is carried out to a temperature of 870±15°С, followed by holding for 3±1 min, quenching is carried out at a temperature of 1150±25°С with an exposure of 3 - 1 min, and tempering is carried out at a temperature of 780±15°С with a holding time of 3±1 min, after which the processed alloy is cooled in air.
EFFECT: improvement of sintered hard alloy T15K6 processing method.
