FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical materials science where magnesium-based alloys can be applied as bioresorbable materials. The method for producing a bioresorbable magnesium alloy includes homogenising annealing, multiaxial isothermal forging, and isothermal rolling. Homogenising annealing is executed at a temperature of 340÷510°C, multiaxial isothermal forging is executed in steps within the temperature range of 430÷250°C with a step from more than 25 to 50°C and with a gradual increase in the deposition rate from 0.5 to 20 mm/min, providing a total absolute degree of deformation within the range from more than 10 to 15. Isothermal multi-pass rolling is executed at a temperature of 300÷150°C with a degree of deformation in each pass of no more than 6% and a total absolute degree of rolling deformation of 0.8÷1.1. The method for producing a bioresorbable magnesium alloy is applied for manufacture of a medical structure.
EFFECT: increase in the plasticity of bioresorbable magnesium alloys produced by the method with simultaneous increase in the strength and fatigue properties thereof is provided.
