SUBSTANCE: method performed by a wireless device is proposed to maintain communication for the wireless device in the second wireless communication network, while the first wireless communication network applies the first frequency shift in uplink transmissions, wherein the method contains stages in which: an indication is received from a radio network node, whether to apply the second frequency shift for uplink transmissions in the case, when the second wireless communication network uses duplex communication with frequency division duplexing (FDD); and the second frequency shift for uplink transmissions is applied, wherein the second shift determines the frequency shift for a subcarrier relatively to a grid of subcarriers of the second wireless network or the frequency shift for a grid of subcarriers of the second wireless network.

EFFECT: providing communication or maintaining communication in an efficient way from the point of view of resource use when the second wireless communication network co-exists with the first wireless communication network.
