FIELD: computer technology.

SUBSTANCE: expected result is achieved due to the fact that a set of controlled parameters, their reference values, exploits are set during the control process, which consists in measuring the parameter values and comparing them with the reference ones for a given time. If the measured values do not match the reference values, or if the structural element of the AS is unavailable, the corresponding sets of exploits are formed and sequentially launched. If the exploit is executed and the purpose of its execution is achieved, an alarm signal is generated, the operation of the corresponding elements of the AS is blocked. If the exploit is aimed at violating availability, but the result of its execution is not received, the actual and initial state of the system functioning process is compared. If they match, the execution of the exploit is forcibly interrupted. When the specified time comes, a report is generated, which includes information about the blocked elements of the automated system, and based on it, a decision is made about the safety of the AS.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the results of monitoring the state of functioning of the automated system (AS).
