FIELD: information security.

SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary structural and functional modeling (hereinafter – SFM) of the data transmission network (hereinafter – DTN) node on the basis of established algorithms for its functioning and with sufficient detail for a given category of importance, setting for each time interval of sampling a sequence of measurements and the composition of a group of controlled parameters (hereinafter – CP) that characterize the security of logical tasks and functional processes depending on the category of importance and the speed of data processing at the DTN node, calculating partial indicators of information security, comparison of the calculated values with the required ones, as well as optimizing the sequence of measurements of CP values by adjusting the SFM of the DTN node to reduce the duration of measurements and data processing.

EFFECT: increased reliability of control results, as well as increased control efficiency.
