FIELD: rocket technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket technology, and more specifically to thermal protection. A two-layer heat-protective coating made of composite materials for the protection of metal structures of gliders of hypersonic aircraft has one ablative layer. The ablative layer is made erosion-resistant. The internal thermal insulation layer is made of a polymer organosilicon binder with a filler made of glass gas-filled microspheres. The outer erosion-resistant ablation layer is made of a bulk-woven silica fabric impregnated with a polymer binder filled with refractory aluminum oxide particles.
EFFECT: increased operating time of the product is achieved.
