FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to oncology, and can be used for comprehensive treatment of a locally advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The method includes intraoperative catheterisation of the system of the superior vena cava, then gemcitabine is administered into a venous catheter through the system of the superior vena cava at a dose of 1,000 mg/m2 for 30 minutes, the gemcitabine is introduced simultaneously with intraoperative irradiation with an IntrаBeam PRS 500 X-ray unit with a power of 50 kV with an irradiation dose of 30 Gy, wherein an applicator is installed on the bed of the removed tumour in the process of irradiation.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides a possibility of increasing the chemotherapeutic effect on the pancreatic tumour tissue due to the intraoperative X-ray radiation therapy.
