FIELD: electronic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic engineering, in particular, to production of high-power vacuum electronic equipment of the UHF range. According to the invention, the emission material constitutes a eutectic alloy obtained by the method for solid-phase synthesis or melting of a mixture of aluminium, yttrium and lanthanum oxides at a predetermined weight ratio.
EFFECT: reduction in the impregnation temperature, the homogeneity of the chemical and phase composition for the entire depth of impregnation of the cathode, and hence, the stability of the emission characteristics.
