SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical and food industries, namely to a method for isolating curcumin from the sum of curcuminoids. Proposed is a method for isolating curcumin from the sum of curcuminoids, characterised by conducting selective deposition of curcumin from the sum of curcuminoids, wherein 1 g of the sum of curcuminoids is dissolved in 10 ml of a mixture of isopropanol with hexane in a ratio of 1:1.75 preheated to a temperature of 50°C, after cooling to room temperature, the precipitate is filtered and dried in a drying cabinet at 60°C.

EFFECT: proposed method provides a possibility of increasing the yield of curcumin when dividing the sum of curcuminoids.
