POLYGONAL-SHAPED FILLING TUBE WITH CORRESPONDING CASING ARRESTER Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A22C11/02 

FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in food industry. The clipper (CM) contains a combination of the casing arrester unit and the filling tube for filling and closing a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing (M). The combination is used for application of a friction force to the casing (M) positioned on the filling tube (10) and for restriction of the casing (M) movement during filling. The filling tube (10) includes an arresting section (16) wherewith the arrester unit (100) is reversely engaged for application of friction force to the casing (M). The arrester unit (100) includes three arresting parts (200a, 200b, 200c), two of them (200b, 200c) capable of reverse radial movement towards the arresting section (16) between the disengaged position wherein the two arresting parts (200b, 200c) are shifted aside from the filling tube (10) and the arresting position wherein the three arresting parts (200a, 200b, 200c) almost completely surround the arresting section (16). The filling tube (10) has a polygonal cross section; in the arresting position, each of the braking parts (200a, 200b, 200c) encloses the corresponding polygonal cut-out turned towards the filling tube (10).
