SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of chemistry and pharmaceutics, namely to a nanoparticle of a pharmaceutical purpose, a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of hypertension, and to the use of a nanoparticle or a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of hypertension. The nanoparticle contains a core with clevidipine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt in the amount from 0.5 to 10.0 mg/ml and an external part surrounding the core containing a water-insoluble excipient selected from vitamin E, deoxycholic acid and phosphatidylcholine or combinations thereof and, optionally, one water-soluble excipient selected from PEG 200, sodium deoxycholate and vitamin E TPGS or a combination thereof. The pharmaceutical composition contains therapeutically effective number of nanoparticles and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, which is an aqueous phase.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides for long-term stability of clevidipine in the composition of nanoparticles and a pharmaceutical composition under the effect of oxygen and water.
