SUBSTANCE: method for processing structured sanitary and hygienic paper material to form a compressed pack of folded sanitary and hygienic paper products includes destructuring of at least one layer of structured sanitary and hygienic paper, folding the web with itself or with another similar web to form a pile. The pole is compressed at a compression exceeding 120 kN/m² to form a compressed pack of folded sanitary and hygienic paper products. The pack has a density exceeding 0.2 g/cm³, and destructuring is conducted by stamping and calendering at least one layer of structured sanitary and hygienic paper.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a possibility of compressing packs to a predetermined density with significantly lower force applied as compared to the previously required to a near-ultimate level without destruction of the natural properties of the product.
