SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely surgery, and can be used to treat infected wounds after hernioplasty using a mesh implant. The removal of the patient’s biological material from the wound and its bacteriological examination, primary surgical treatment (PST) of the wound and antibiotic therapy are carried out. The application of a replaceable drainage dressing is carried out 24 hours after the PST by filling the wound with cellular material, gluing a film coating on the wound and installing wound drainage. The wound drainage of a replaceable drainage dressing is connected to a device for vacuum therapy of wounds and vacuum therapy is performed. After performing the PST, retreating 5 cm from the lower edge of the wound, a drainage tube is installed to the bottom of the wound, which is blocked during vacuum therapy. Vacuum therapy is first performed at a constant negative pressure of 125 mm Hg with a break of 15 minutes in the morning and evening for wound washing. To do this, 30-70 ml of 0.1% Lavasept solution is injected through a drainage tube with an exposure of 15 minutes. After the appearance of granulation tissue covering the wound and the surface of the mesh implant, and the elimination of clinical signs of infection, the drainage tube is removed. Vacuum therapy is carried out at a constant negative pressure of 75 mm Hg. The course of treatment is 18-20 days.

EFFECT: method reduces the duration of treatment and eliminates cases of mesh implant removal due to vacuum therapy.
