FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering and can be used in water-heating, steam and thermal oil boilers. A boiler containing a cylindrical body with a firebox and an external convection chamber enveloping the firebox and heating surfaces made of pipes in form of screw spirals, connected to the inlet and outlet collectors and including a screen part and a convection part located in the firebox and in the external convection chamber, respectively, equipped with a divider placed between the firebox and the external convection chamber communicating therewith through an annular gap between the divider and the front wall of the boiler, wherein the divider is made in form of a truncated paraboloid of revolution, the smaller diameter whereof is located by the front wall of the boiler from the side of the firebox and the firebox is reversible, and the larger diameter of the divider is located by the rear wall of the boiler, the screw spirals of the screen part are made in accordance with the profile of the divider in form of a truncated paraboloid of revolution, the screw spirals of the internal section of the convection part outside of the divider are made in accordance with the profile of the divider, the screw spirals of the external section of the convection part are made in form of cylindrical screw spirals, the pipe spirals of the firebox screen and the convection part can be made in accordance with the "multistart thread" principle.

EFFECT: optimisation of the speed of gases in the convection chamber and the speed of the heat carrier in order to optimise the heat transfer coefficient in the convection chamber, an increase in the reliability and operating life of the boiler with a reduction in material consumption.
