FIELD: granular materials manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of manufacturing microspherical granules of metal oxides and can be used in nuclear power in the manufacture of granular materials for the transmutation of minor actinides, in the production of microspherical nuclear fuel with an inert matrix, as well as in the chemical industry in the production of catalysts and inorganic sorbents. A jet of a working solution of a salt of a metal or several metals with the addition of carbamide and urotropine is broken into droplets, which are directed into a stream of hot gelling medium having a density higher than the density of the working solution. Drops of the working solution as a result of hydrolysis processes solidify, turning into spherical gel granules. From the obtained granules, after washing with aqueous ammonia and appropriate heat treatment, microspherical particles of oxides of the corresponding metals are obtained.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the yield of suitable spherical granules up to 95%.
