SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and biotechnology. A set of synthetic oligonucleotides for RNA detection, genetic typing and detection of mutant sections of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus genome is presented. The set includes from one to fourteen primer compositions, with a multiplex reaction of those flanking on both sides, nucleotide sequences specific to the genetic variants of SARS-CoV-2 are of concern: Wul-fw, E484K-fw, K417N-fw, K417T-fw, T478K-fw, Wul-rv, N501Y-rv, P681H-rv and P681R-rv. In a particular case, the following two compositions can be used. One composition may contain Wul-fw primers without a fluorescent label, E484K-fw with a fluorescent label, K417N-fw with a fluorescent label, Wul-rv with a fluorescent label, N501Y-rv with a fluorescent label and P681H-rv with a fluorescent label. Another composition may contain Wul-fw primers without a fluorescent label, E484K-fw with a fluorescent label, K417N-fw with a fluorescent label, K417T-fw with a fluorescent label, Wul-rv without a fluorescent label, N501Y-rv without a fluorescent label, T478K-fw with a fluorescent label and P681R-rv with a fluorescent label.
EFFECT: identification of SARS-CoV-2 based on RT-PCR, which makes it possible to identify five important, that is of concern, genetic variants of SARS-CoV-2 (namely, variants alpha, beta, gamma, delta, delta plus), while identifying in combination epidemiologically and clinically significant mutant sections of the viral genome encoding S-protein, including encoding antibody-recognizable S-protein epitopes, including RBD.
