SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to the design of a tank boiler with a heating jacket and to the technology of its manufacture and assembly. The boiler (1) of the tank is assembled from the shell (1.1), the bottoms (1.2), the heating jacket (1.3), the casing of which is mounted on the frame, and the drain device (2). In the lower part of the boiler (1), the seat is made in the form of a cylindrical base flange. The drain device (2) is made in the form of a housing, on top of which a heating jacket is mounted. A cylindrical base flange is fixed in the upper part of the heating jacket. On the outer surface of the cylindrical base flange of the heating jacket of the drain device, support shelves are fixed for the sheets of the casing of the heating jacket (1.3) of the boiler (1) of the tank. The method for manufacturing a tank boiler with a heating jacket is characterized by the assembly of the tank boiler from the shell, bottoms, seat for the drain device, the frame of the heating jacket, as well as the assembly of the drain device before it is installed on the tank boiler and the heating jacket of the drain device, in the upper part of which a cylindrical base flange is performed. In the upper part of the heating jacket of the drain device and in the cylindrical base flange of the heating jacket of the drain device, through windows are made to communicate the heating cavity of the heating jacket of the drain device with the heating cavity of the heating jacket of the tank boiler. The assembled body of the drain device is installed on the tank boiler and fixed with mounting welds. Hydraulic tests of the tank boiler are carried out and the casing of the heating jacket of the tank boiler is mounted, placing casing sheets on the frame fixed to the tank boiler and on the surface of the support shelves.

EFFECT: invention improves the manufacturing quality of the tank boiler, increases the reliability of the tank boiler.
