FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining the residual operating life of braking apparatuses of aerial vehicles (AVs). In order to determine the residual operating life during the landing of the AV, the time and the speed of passage of the center of mass thereof are recorded in the data obtaining area located over the entire area of the landing strip, the braking distance is calculated, then an array of data on braking distances and non-uniformity of deceleration by the braking distance, time and amount of landings of the aerial vehicle, is generated, the total braking distance for the current time of operation of the AV is calculated accounting for the non-uniformities of deceleration by the braking distances, and the amount of remaining landings of accident-free operation of the braking apparatuses is calculated, the resulting value is compared with the reported amount of landings of accident-free operation, and a decision is made on further operation of the braking apparatuses of the aerial vehicle.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the residual operating life of the braking apparatuses of AVs is provided.
