SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environment protection. The device for separating activated sludge into fractions contains a housing 1 formed by a vertical side wall 2 and a bottom 3, a support 4, a truss 5 connected to the support 4 and made with the possibility of rotation relative to it, supply 6 and discharge 7 pipelines, a means 8 for removing clarified liquid medium, a system 9 for collecting sludge, shut-off valves 21, made with the possibility of remotely changing the amount of sludge supplied for processing and/or into the recirculation stream, a collecting channel 22 and a second discharge pipeline 23 connected to it. The sludge collection system 9 is made in the form of at least two slime pumps 10 and a pipeline system 13. Each of the slime pumps 10 is made in the form of a sludge collector 14 located at the bottom of the housing 1, a sludge pump 15 and a vertical pipeline 16. The pipeline system 13 is made in the form of horizontal pipelines rigidly fixed on a rotating truss 5, in an amount equal to the number of slime pumps 10, with the possibility of feeding sludge for processing and/or into a recirculation stream. The slime pumps 10 are connected to horizontal pipelines through movable joints 20, made in the form of corrugated rubber pipes, and are designed to move along the axis of horizontal pipelines. Sludge pumps 15 are made with the possibility of changing the flow rate of the pumped sludge.

EFFECT: device provides the separation of activated sludge into reservoirs containing activated sludge of different ages, which increases the efficiency of biological wastewater treatment through the use of activated sludge with high oxidizing properties.
