SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Trans-scleral laser action is carried out on the intraocular tumor with a diode laser with a wavelength of 810 nm. Transscleral laser thermotherapy of a tumor is carried out in a continuous "scanning" mode. In this case, the laser exposure is carried out with continuous movement of the laser spot over the entire surface of the tumor, starting from the periphery of the tumor and further to its center until the appearance of a visual effect in the form of sequential whitening of the surface of each section of the tumor, with the following parameters: wavelength - 810 nm, exposure - continuous, radiation power - 200-800 mW, spot diameter - 800-1500 microns. In a particular case, with pre-equatorial localization of the tumor, the eyeball is compressed until moderate hypotension is achieved, sclerocompression is performed in the projection of the tumor, bringing it into the projection of the pupil. In a particular case, with postequatorial localization of the tumor in a place corresponding to the projection of the tumor, an incision of the conjunctiva is performed, and the tenon capsule is separated.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of damage to the sclera, retina, retinal pigment epithelium of the retina, collateral damage to healthy tissues due to uniform heating of tissues in the area of laser exposure.
