SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For complete transpupillary imaging of a pathological focus, eyeball compression is performed until moderate hypotension is achieved. That is followed by sclerocompression in the projection of the focus, exposing it to the projection of the pupillary membrane. A diode-laser transpupillary thermotherapy of the source is performed.
EFFECT: method enables laser treatment of peripheral lesions in reverse ophthalmoscopy, as well as reducing the number of complications, such as iris and lens laser burn.
