SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing the equipment of consumers of signals of satellite radio navigation systems, which is part of vehicles. Before testing the vehicle with a navigation system installed in the vehicles, the output power of the generator of the simulator of navigation signals is calibrated, for which a dielectric table is installed in the center of the turntable of the anechoic chamber, on which the receiver and the antenna of the tested navigation system are placed, the antenna of the simulator of signals of satellite radio navigation systems is placed on the elevation guide at the zenith angle Θ = 0° and at a regulated distance (r), and then the signal strength and the number of satellites are adjusted and memorized at which the navigation parameter calculated by the navigation system receiver is less than the limiting navigation parameter. After the calibration of the output power of the generator of the simulator of navigation signals, the automatic telephone exchange with the standardly installed receiver and antenna of the tested navigation system is installed in the center of the turntable. On the spherical segment of the solid angle 170° of the virtual hemisphere located above the vehicle with the tested navigation system, set, in the zenith and azimuth angles, a set of points for the location of the simulator antenna in relation to the vehicle, in each of which the generator signals calibrated in terms of power are supplied to the simulator antenna simulator and determination of navigation parameters by the receiver of the navigation system. The assessment of the quality of the navigation system is carried out on the basis of a comprehensive assessment of the array of parameters of the accuracy of determining the position of the navigation system obtained as a result of testing.

EFFECT: test method provides a comprehensive assessment of the accuracy of determining the location of the vehicle, including in the presence of external electromagnetic interference, taking into account the peculiarities of the layout of the navigation system in the vehicle.
