FIELD: car industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing of onboard navigation modules. In a method for testing of navigation modules of devices/systems for calling emergency operational services of a motor vehicle, the tested motor vehicle equipped with the tested onboard navigation module and a radio communication module is placed on a rotary stand of an electromagnetic anechoic camera equipped with a simulator of satellite group radiation, an elevation guide of an antenna of the simulator of satellite group radiation, a simulator of a base radio station, a reference navigation module, a computer with specialized software, as well as lines of computer communication with the simulator of the base radio station, with the reference navigation module and devices/system for calling emergency operational services. Before testing the onboard navigation module, on the rotary stand of the anechoic camera, the reference navigation module is placed, and geographical coordinates and their dissipation parameters are measured in circular polarization of radiating signals.
EFFECT: testing method provides for a complex assessment of the accuracy of data on ATS location, provided to an operator of a call-center.
