A method for creating an experimental model of adenomyosis in Wistar rats is characterized by the fact that newborn females are injected with an estrogen receptor blocker tamoxifen at a dose of 1 mg of the drug/1 kg of animal weight orally once from 2 to 5 days of the neonatal period and withdrawn from the experiment on 30 days after birth.

EFFECT: invention provides a highly reproducible model of adenomyosis in Wistar rats, reducing material costs, optimizing the timing of removing animals from the experiment with a sufficient severity of the disease, saving time and money with a single administration of tamoxifen compared to the inexpedient double administration.
