FIELD: medicine, experimental obstetrics and gynecology.
SUBSTANCE: nitrofen is administered weekly to rats after female and male rats are placed together. On the 9th day after mating, rats undergo an ultrasound examination (ultrasound) confirming pregnancy and assessing the size of the fetus. After confirmation of 9-day pregnancy, weekly oral administration of nitrofen is stopped. On the 21st day of pregnancy, the fetuses of rats are removed from the uterus by surgery.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain a model for studying the pathogenesis of congenital diaphragmatic hernia, the formation of changes in the lung tissue, the study of drugs for the correction of lung hypoplasia.
