FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to a method for manufacturing a zinc-based coated steel sheet and can be used in the manufacture of motor vehicles. The method for manufacturing a coated steel sheet includes the following stages: application of the first coating consisting of nickel and having a thickness in the range between 600 nm and 950 nm to the steel sheet, recrystallization annealing of the said coated steel sheet at a temperature in the range between 820 and 1200°C, application of the second zinc-based coating, which does not contain nickel, to the steel sheet obtained at the previous stage. At the same time, the steel sheet contains, by wt. %: 0.10<C<0.40, 1.5<Mn<3.0, 0.7<Si<3.0, 0.05<Al<1.0, 0.75<(Si+Al)<3.0 and optionally one or more items in: N≤0.5, B≤0.010, Cr≤1.0, Mo≤0.50, Ni≤1.0, Ti≤0.5, and the rest is iron and inevitable impurities.
EFFECT: resistance to liquid metal embrittlement increases.
