FIELD: heat insulation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a wall of a sealed and heat-insulating tank. The method contains stages, at which a heat-insulating barrier is supplied, containing two insulating panels (3) forming inter-panel space (2). Next, insulating plug (1) is supplied, containing a covering part made of kraft paper completely covering an insulating central part. Then, a suction branch pipe of suction system (24) is inserted into insulating plug (1) through a hole in the covering part made of kraft paper. The next stage is to create low pressure in insulating plug (1) to reduce a thickness of mentioned insulating plug (1) under low pressure, and insert insulating plug (1) into inter-panel space (2), while maintaining the suction of suction system (24). After inserting insulating plug (1) into inter-panel space (2), the suction branch pipe is removed from the insulating plug.
EFFECT: creation of a plug that will reliably fill the inter-panel space between two panels of the heat-insulating barrier, without creating a gap during the use of the tank.
