FIELD: fluid storage.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to a sealed and heat-insulating fluid storage tank, which is built into a supporting structure. The tank includes, in order of thickness: a thermal barrier held on the supporting structure and a sealing membrane supported by the thermal barrier. The heat-insulating barrier includes insulating panels arranged in two parallel rows separated by a gap. The thermal barrier includes spacers (77, 78) positioned in the gap so that they are compressed between two rows. The heat-insulating barrier additionally includes one liner (8) located in the contact zone (9) in which the first gasket (77) and the second gasket (78) are adjacent to each other so as to compress the liner (8) between the gaskets (77, 78) in the gap.
EFFECT: control of continuity of thermal insulation of heat-insulating barriers during cooling of the tank.
