SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the wall of a sealed heat insulation tank. The wall includes a heat-insulating barrier forming a support surface for a sealing membrane. The heat-insulating barrier includes two adjacent insulation panels jointly forming an inter-panel space. The tank wall additionally includes an insulation plug (1) located in the inter-panel space in order to fill the inter-panel space, wherein the insulation plug (1) includes a central insulation part (4) partially covered with a covering part (5) made of kraft paper. The central insulation part (4) includes multilayer glass wool (11). The multilayer glass wool (11) includes fibre sheets overlaid on each other in the direction (12) of layering, wherein the insulation plug (1) is located in the inter-panel space so that the direction (12) of layering of the multilayer glass wool (11) is parallel to the direction of width of the inter-panel space.

EFFECT: creation of a wall of a sealed heat insulation tank, wherein an insulation plug securely fills the inter-panel space between two adjacent panels of the heat-insulating barrier without forming a gap.
