FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, to surgery and for the endoscopic treatment of Mallory-Weiss syndrome. As a hemostatic, algistab is used, which is applied to a bleeding defect using an insufflator at a distance of 1.5 cm from the defect. In this case, the amount of the insufflated drug algistab is calculated by the formula: m=(L×d)×K, where: m is the amount of the applied drug algistab, g, L is the length of the bleeding rupture, cm, d is the depth of the defect, cm, K is the coefficient, taking into account the nature of bleeding; K=3.5 - ongoing bleeding, K=2.0 - unstable stopped bleeding, thrombosed vessel or clot, K=1.7 - ongoing bleeding, hematin, K=1.3 - no signs of bleeding, fibrin.
EFFECT: method allows to stop bleeding from defects of the esophageal-gastric junction, enhances the hemostatic effect, and also to accelerate the healing time of defects in patients with Mallory-Weiss syndrome.
