FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operational monitoring of the technical condition of irrigation system structures in hydraulic engineering, in particular to determining the condition of asbestos-cement pipes as the most economical material for the construction of irrigation systems. In the method for automatic monitoring of the state of asbestos-cement discharge pipelines of a closed irrigation system, which includes moving a device relative to the pipeline under examination with means for obtaining images of the pipeline surface, recording and transmitting data to a computer, scanning the pipeline surface, storing the results in the computer memory block, forming a three-dimensional model of the pipeline using a software block, identifying defects and deciding on the necessary type of repair, according to the invention, cyclic, circular, sequential scanning of sections of the inner surface of the pipeline is carried out simultaneously together with scanning the volume of soil adjacent to it from its outer surface, obtaining a planar panoramic image of the inner surface of the pipeline of the same sections and marking each scanned section. As the means for forming a three-dimensional model of the pipeline with an adjacent volume of soil, obtaining images of the inner surface of the pipeline and registering, respectively, a scanner in the form of a georadar antenna, a digital camera or video camera with illumination and a marker with a coloring agent are used, installed sequentially one after another at distances equal to the width of the scanned section, and for cyclic rotation along the inner surface of the pipeline and moving them along it, a stepper motor with a control unit is used, communicated with a computer and providing the ability to switch modes of rotational and translational movements, and the distance of the georadar antenna from the scanned surface is set constant and adjusted depending on the change in the speed of its movement automatically using the control unit, and the width of image capturing by lens of a panoramic camera or video camera is set according to the width of the scanning area.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to assess the condition of asbestos-cement discharge pipelines and make a decision on the necessary type and scope of their repair, and also ensures determining the possibility of their secondary use by visualizing the condition of the soil adjacent to the pipeline for the presence of subsidence, voids, decompression and foreign inclusions affecting the condition of pipelines.
